The day started extremely well with the news that my beloved Tottenham Hotspur have qualified for the group stages of the European Champion's League following a 4-0 victory last night over Young Boys from Switzerland.
It was a meritorious victory given Spurs trailed 3-0 after 30 minutes in the first leg before fighting back with 2 crucial away goals to leave Berne with a 2-3 deficit.
Peter Crouch was the hero scoring a hat trick in the 2nd leg to put Spurs through for the first time in their history.
